Tea Gardens Hotel - our bars

From the outside, the Tea Gardens Hotel appears as a beautiful Art Deco relic. However, it’s inside the pub that earned the Tea Gardens its reputation and accolades for entertainment. Inside, the building oozes with both classical and modern styling to suit any occasion, be it a packed bar for a sporting event or a relaxing cocktail in the ‘cruisey’ Circa Lounge Bar. MAIN BAR & GAMING ROOM BAR

Main Bar
The ground floor of the hotel houses the main bar. Originally the social point for people connected with the racing industry (from horse owners, jockies, promoters and even the first Melbourne Cup winner, Archer was stabled here), the main bar was recently renovated with a brand new sound system and surrounded by plasma screens to enhance the entertainment value of the hotel. Some things never change though… our beer’s still icy cold and our staff are still providing the exceptional service and hospitality that distinguishes the Tea Gardens Hotel from other venues.

The main bar opens up and extends into outdoors pergola style seating for those who enjoy a beer in the sun. Adjacent to the bar, a DJ box and dance floor; pool tables; TAB facilities and a perfect area for live bands and entertainment

On Saturdays, we have live DJ's spinning the latest R&B, House and 'Old School' tunes from 8pm - 2am

Sundays are reserved for live bands starting at 5pm and playing through to 8pm.

Gaming Room
Surrounded by art deco statues and an impressive tropical fish tank, the Tea Garden’s Gaming Lounge is packed with action and excitement! Escape to the Gaming Lounge for a quiet drink or to challenge the latest games on one of 29 machines. Our friendly and professional Gaming Lounge staff is always available to assist when necessary and with close access to the Gaming Lounge Bar, you’ll never go thirsty!

CIRCA BAR & BISTRO

Circa Lounge Bar
The Circa Lounge Bar used to be the best kept secret in the area… until droves of people discovered its ‘cruisey’ atmosphere, outstanding music, lively cocktail bar and alfresco dining!

Situated on the first floor of the Tea Gardens Hotel, the Circa Bar offers Art Deco style lounge seating with a sensational balcony that gives you a grandstand view of Bondi Junction. Good times are guaranteed by our fully stocked cocktail bar, comfortable seating and flamboyant bar staff ready to shake and rattle your favourite cocktail together!

Hidden away at the back of the first floor and adjoining the lounge area is the Circa Bar’s gorgeous open-air wooden decking, complete with water features and a pergola for those who enjoy a few cocktails under the stars. And if you’re looking to relax and unwind after a week at work, you can enjoy the soothing sounds of chilled music on the Circa deck each Friday evening and kick the weekend off with style.
